Description
Khali is a young, naïve free spirit who lost her mother and lives alone with her father. She loves to dance and play on the beach. Her deepest desire is to travel the world and she wishes to journey to Lake Wairarapa for her birthday. Her father agrees, whilst travelling, they are separated by a landslide. Lost and alone, she is greeted by a troll who at first appears friendly, but is deceptive in nature.
From there, Khali embarks on a journey of self-discovery and self-fulfilment. Along the way, she discovers the beauty and ugliness of her reality as she meets both companions and foes on her quest. Coming to grips with her own personality, Kahli learns how to dive deeper into her psyche in an attempt to overcome internal and external demons.
This is a tale of divine intervention and triumph against all odds. Will Khali give into her transgressions and submit to her flaws or break free and conquer her inner demons?

Vanessa Smith –
Ok so here are my thoughts !! Your voice sounds really pleasant, nice and clear, and blends into the background which allows the story to shine through. Good use of character voices, minor drop in and out, your pace and pauses were good which allowed me to absorb the story. And strangely, because we know you, I think it makes the story even better, feels like you have an emotional connection to the story, bit of Vanessa appears to be in the story !! Really well done, I also like the use of sounds and the book cover artwork looks great. You should be very proud of yourself 👊👊👊👏👏
